Based on a range of criteria we have developed a classification system for papers allowing you to choose an environmental option based on your own level of comfort.
By promoting the use of environmentally preferable papers, we are offering you the option of using these for your print jobs, and we are also encouraging our suppliers to increase their availability and selection.
What do we mean by environmentally preferable papers?
To make sure that today’s resources do not dwindle away, creating shortages in the future, ColorPortal Europe S.A. suppliers are committed to using sustainably managed raw materials.
- PEFC certification: the world’s largest forest protection organisation ensures that the pulp used by our suppliers uses to produce its paper comes from sustainably managed forests
- Closed-loop water systems: reduces the volume of fresh water needed to a minimum
- Responsible use of chemicals: avoiding the use of substances that are harmful to health and environment
Recycling
To reduce environmental pollution and ensure recyclable materials do not go to waste, ColorPortal Europe S.A. suppliers are requested to take responsibility for its own waste management and air pollution treatment very early on.- 100 percent of mill broke is recycled
